I was serving up spagetti for dinner and I put Emma's bowl down on the stove top. Guess what I forgot it was still hot and when I picked it up all the spagetti went all over the floor.
How funny! That's my biggest worry about having a flat-topped stove (whenever we can afford to upgrade). I already do that with random things even with a raised burner. Stoves should have retractable surfaces when you're done cooking for just that reason!
