This is why I'm so happy.

12 weeks and feeling good.

So I've been on my diet for 12 weeks and here is my progress pictures. I see a difference in 4 weeks and it really motivates me. Ohhhhh I've lost 40 lbs so far.

Hair Cut

This morning I noticed that Lily's hair was VERY tangled. So I touched it and it was more than tangled it had something in it. BIG TIME. I thought it was gum, but as I investigated it further I found it wasn't that. What was it you may ask. GLUE dried glue that made her hair so brittle that it just broke off as I tried to brush it. So I had to cut it before I sent her on to school and I had a hard time doing it. I did the best I could and then after school I took her to get it cut by someone who had more experience. Emma got a cut as well. They loved it.

It's a NEST.

Peter says that the luv sac is a nest. Well it looks like a nest when they are in it. I am so jealous, I wish I had a big comfy thing to play in when I was a kid. Ohhh this reminds me when I was little we had this huge downstairs family room and we would get all our blankets and pillows in a big pile. Then my older brother Josh would lay on his back with his feet in the air. My little brother Mark and I would then sit on his feet as he would catapult us into the pile of blankets. If we had one of these it would have made the landing so much easier.

Just hanging around.

We got a hanging pull up bar so Jonathan can get stronger. We are having a contest, and I'm going to win. But in the mean time Emma had fun hanging from the pull up bar.

Security Blanket

Some kids carry around a small blanket for comfort right........ Not my boy. He likes to carry around HUGE blankets that are hard for him to pull along. 

Especially up the stairs. It took him a long time to get up those steps.

Get Me a Drink Mommy.

Peter always asks me to get him a drink when ever I'm at my busiest. Every time when he gets me downstairs he has to do it himself.

He even gets his own cup.

This is when he needs my help.

He's a happy boy now.

Lily's Bday Party.

Lily had a Bday party with kids from school and church. She had lots of fun. It's so scary to see your kids grow up.

Surprises Come in Small Packages.

I sure love this little face. Miriam is a great baby, and I'm blessed with this little surprise. She knew the right time to come when I didn't.











Also she has some subtle dimples on her cheeks. I love love love dimples.

OUCH!!

Emma was trying to get Benjamin down from climbing up to the top bunk and he hit his chin really hard on a wood part of the bed. Now he has a bruise and a serious double chin. I was scared he fractured his chin or something but he's ok.

Monster Hand

Peter loves to play "Monster Hand". I pretend that my hand is sleeping with snoring and all. Then he comes up and touches my hand and tries to get away before I grab him. He could go for hours doing this. But I get burnt out after about 5 min.

Sleepy Time.

Miriam is my first baby to sleep in her crib. Well she is going to go beyond that. I can put her in her crib WHILE SHE IS AWAKE and she will silently fall asleep. THIS is BIG for me. I'm LOVING this.

Happy 8th Birthday Lily Loo!!!

I can't believe that Lily is eight already. She's going to get baptised next month. I'm so excited for her. She is so excited for herself. She got some new scriptures and a few toys. She also got to sleep over at Grandma's house which was special.

Where is Peter might you ask......... He always is done and gone before anyone else gets to the table.

I'm Impatient.

When I want something done I have a hard time waiting for someone else to do it for me. So when I started to hear my brakes squeal I thought "Oh no...... Jonathan is so busy with work how long am I going to have to endure this?" So one night I told Jonathan we had to change them. Well he got the brakes for me but had too much to do for work to do the brakes. So the next day I got a crazy thought in my head. I've seen Jonathan change out the brakes before and remembered how to do it. So I jacked up the car and put it on stands. I took the tires off and oh boy am I weak. It was really hard just to get the lug nuts off. I'll tell you I spent hours trying to turn a bolt the wrong way. With many calls to Jonathan and him getting some rotors that were bad I changed the brakes myself. I like being able to do things, and learning. Not that I want to do it any time soon though.

Watch what you say.

 

Our bird Jack said "Jonathan Help" today. When Benjamin fell off the chair and cut his forehead open I yelled really loud "Jonathan Help" as he was upstairs I was down stairs, and he was sleeping. That happened a couple of MONTHS ago. I guess birds have a good memory. If she says it allot Jonathan might think I'm nagging him. HAHA. 

By the way Jonathan helps out tons around the house. 

Dinner?

Peter would rather play on the Leapster than eat dinner . Silly boy

Wilbur Came Home

And we are sure enjoying him. I don't have to buy meat for a long time.

Bye Bye Kitty.

Ok........... so we got a kitten for the kids for christmas. We thought the birds and cat could coexist. NOPE, one day I came out of the office to see the cat pouncing on our bird Huck. We have had Huck for 3 years and he talks and does a trick. I have a iffy relationship with Huck. He likes me then he doesn't. But I really enjoy him and he's a fun pet. I was horrified at what I was seeing. I quickly got in the way of the cat and yelled for Jonathan to come help me. Well, Huck was not harmed but we had to chose between the cat and Huck. A pet we got just 2 weeks ago or Huck that we've had for along time. It was simple, we picked our feathered friend. So sadly the girls had to say goodbye to their little friend.

I'm a mommy Peter

Peter informed me that he was a Mommy Peter. 

Ummmmmm, I don't wear blankets on my head. 

I don't know where he got that one. Still very cute.

One Last Ride.

We said goodbye to the quad today..... We didn't need it anymore. The kids didn't like riding it and it was just sitting in our garage. Maybe in 5 years we will get another one.

I have the best husband ever.

I got a huge surprise tonight..... Jonathan said he had to go to Home Depot to exchange a light switch. He offered to take the boys with him. It was so nice of him to do that. But that wasn't my surprise. He came home with a new Dyson vacuum for me. Our vacuum is so big, so loud, and very heavy. It's really hard to bring it up the stairs. So he went to home depot for the vacuum not the light switch. I have a great husband.

Earlier that night I vacuumed and this is what my old vacuum didn't pick up

Honor Roll and Preschool.

Benjamin was bored during the assembly. If I were a kid I would have done the same thing he is doing. It's funny how much he is like me.
