Magic Mirror

In my new house there was this mirror in the Master Bedroom as I walked past it I looked smaller than any other mirror had. Not like I'm narcissistic and I constantly look at myself all day long. When you are losing weight to be HEALTHY, and to stop hurting all the time it's nice to see progress. Soooo if it's a deceiving mirror I'm only going to look into that one I don't care. It's great.

Why do kids need toys.

When there are tons of packing paper and boxes around. Oh and the stairs really do help.

Moving and Catch Up.

Pretty Mountain

wishing I was her sometimes

The pictures are all out of order but ohhhh well I'm tired. SOOOOOOO Emma turned 7 and the kids helped with the cake. The kids all had tons of fun on the swing around at Grandma's house. Miriam loves to play in and eat fall leaves. Peter turned 5 and I made my first fondant cake and it was horrible. It tasted good (that's what the kids say) but it looked bad. We had a tiny tree for christmas this year but Peter loved it. He didn't have to be lifted up to put the star on.

ANNNNDDDDD we made a huge change and moved to UTAH. We had been praying for a way for Jonathan to not have to go to Las Vegas anymore. We were talking and I said that the only way that would happen is that he sold an account in Las Vegas that required his company to have a rep. that lived there. So if he sold it he would be out of there. He said yeah but there is another way. He could get another job. I thought no way not in this economy. So it came time for him to go to Las Vegas to do a walk through at this particular account and that morning at another account he sprained his ankle pretty bad. But he went on to driving 7 hours to Las Vegas and the next morning walking on it for 8 hours and then driving back home. As he was there he was told of an job opportunity. It was with another company and it was in Utah. Jonathan decided around a year ago that he was going to work for this company. It's all he's wanted in a job. So he called me up and told me about it. I felt that it was the right thing for our family and he would get the job. He got the information he needed and as soon as he got home he sent off his resume. Then I looked at his ankle and it was horrible. I really thought it was broken. So through this trial of his foot getting really hurt we were given this great opportunity. After a lot of waiting and praying we got the job offer and made plans to move to snowy cold Utah. We are here and we really like it. It's an adjustment but we will do fine.

I really believe if you have faith and a positive outlook on life you will get what you want as long as it's good. If you think of all the horrible things that might happen to you they just might. I've decided that only good is going to happen and if it seems bad it's just prepping me for something great in the end.

Benjamin's hair

When Benjamin was born he had little to no hair. As he got older his hair came in and it laid flat on his head unlike all my other kids whose hair stood straight up. After his first cut this is how it's been. He's now called fuzzy by countless people. I just KNOW that when he's a teen ager he's going to try and grow it out like an afro. BTW it won't lay down for anything.

Happy Birthday Jonny!!!!

I've been able to celebrate 10 birthday's with this wonderful man. It's his lucky day but I feel as if it's mine as well. Without him I wouldn't have all this. 5 Beautiful children, and a very caring husband. He is sure blessed to have all these children that adore him. Each one of them LOVE their daddy. Happy Birthday Jonathan I love you so much!!!!!!!

5 months of weight loss.

Has it really been that long. When I first started I was overwhelmed. I had a lot to lose. It's hard to be disciplined. I'm an emotional eater and I had to "deal" with my everyday small issues another way. So I got through it one week at a time. I've lost 51.8 lbs and I feel great. It's coming off slower but that's healthy. I have just 32.6 lbs to go and that's cake (although I won't eat it). I can see my self smaller and healthier the rest of my life and that makes me happy. OHHHHHH big deal here................. I got my size 8 pants out and tried them on just to measure how much I have to go.......... I got them up buttoned and zipped. They were TIGHT, but they were on. My ultimate goal is size 6 but oh man it's so close I can taste it.

KooKoonut milk.

Emma tried some coconut milk today. She didn't like it too much and called it kookoonut milk. Hahaha.

Gotta Love This Kid!

Oh how I love this big little guy. There are some times I wonder what he's thinking. Like when he runs into the street seconds away from getting hit by a car. TWICE. Not like I'm being a neglectful parent or anything. He's FAST. I've never been around a kid this fast. I've been around a lot of kids so that says A LOT.
There are times where he's calm (rarely). He's a huge snuggler. He's happy all the time. He keeps me on my toes.
Even though I'm close to pulling out all my hair sometimes. I LOVE this guy. Now who couldn't with that face. Oh and his first sentence was "to infinity and beyond!"
