Utah Weather

The weather around here has been so crazy. It's warmish and then it's snowing all day. Then by the afternoon it's as if it never happened. Crazy

Fabric Flowers

I'm making as many different kinds of fabric flowers for my girls as I can.

Trip to AZ

We went back to AZ recently to see Jonathan's brother that just got home from his mission. It was lots of fun and LOTS of driving. We got to visit cousins and send time with Daddy. Jonathan has lots of work all the time so during this visit he didn't have to do any work at all. It was nice.

Peter's Funny Faces

My boy make me laugh all the time. He's so funny. I love his silly faces that he makes.

My Babies

Benjamin has been in this "stage" once Miriam was born. 18 months is the time I have to realize that I have tons of fun to look forward to LIKE. He was into everything. He was running off. He was ACTIVE. Not that he's being bad he's just adventurous. But he's going to be 3 soon and that's my magic number. It's the time my kids magically calm wayyyyyyy down. He's still pretty noisy and kinda out of control at church. But it is getting so much better. I love this big little guy.
This is Miriam's monster face. She's in the process of "getting" mommy.
Now that Benjamin is calming down Miriam has hit that "stage". She's nearing 18 months. Although she's VERY different than Benjamin it's still going to be "fun". She's starting to climb. But she'll just sit on the chairs instead of jumping on them and then try to hang from the light above the table. She's isn't fearless like her older brother so I don't think she'll try to run off on her own. She's not so adventurous. But she's just as happy. Church has been a double whammy with both babies not wanting to sit still at all. I love every moment I go through with my wonderful children. Some times at particular moments I think my sanity will go out the window. I know that these moments are to be cherished and enjoyed. They are for my benefit really. I'll gladly take them and learn. I'm so glad I have this opportunity to raise and love 5 wonderful angels.

She LOVES The Piano

See this girl. She tries to get on the piano bench all the time. She loves to pound the piano keys.
And she cries every time I take her down.

Boys for Sale

They will even ship themselves off for you.
No they aren't really for sale.
But they sure enjoyed playing with the boxes we got in the mail.

Benji EATS!

When we were in Arizona I didn't let Benji go outside unsupervised that much. Why?!?! Because he would have who knows what in his mouth. He would be chomping on sand, rocks, grass, leaves, and other stuff. He would just lay flat on his belly and put his mouth right on the ground and dig in. Now that we are in Utah he has found that snow is the perfect treat. One day he got on his coat and boots (oh and just his diaper), and ran outside to play in the freshly fallen snow. We found him by the garden face in the snow chowing down. He looked up with excitement exclaiming EAT!!!

Here are a few more things he likes to EAT!!

His entire fist!
The best one yet! HIS SISTERS HAIR!!

So I guess really any girl will have to know that food of ANY kind (or non food) will be the way to my sons heart. OH DEAR!!

Great Examples!

This is what Lily and Emma have been teaching Miriam this last week.

Emma's Costume

Emma wanted to pretend to be a dog and this is how I found her. She's a funny girl

Peter's Story

We all got into a rocket and flewed to the moon (spuuuushuuuuu) then we felled off the moon and landed on the street and we got squished by a car and died. We didn't die when we feel off the moon on to the earf cause this is the earf. But we just died when we got squished by the car. But we got resurrected. Then we asked someone to make us a house. Then we lived and lived and lived. Cause we got resurrected. De end

Rattlesnake Eggs

Jonathan bought these Rattlesnake eggs from the dollar store. It was soo funny seeing the kids reaction when you open the pouch.

Cutest Baby EVER!!

This is her personality through and through

She makes this face all the time. I love it.
Ohhhhh she is too much. She loves to be a ham in front of the camera. Maybe it's something to do with being the youngest but she's just fun. Miriam is almost 17 months old and I can't believe that she'll be in nursery at church in just over a month. I'm excited but I'm sure going to miss her. Benjamin is going to be 3 at the same time. Oh boy they are just growing up on me. Oh not to mention but this is the face of a little girl that has been dealing with a major fever for a couple of days. Saturday at 2 in the morning she had a fever of 105. We put her in a cold bath and that worked. Then that night really late it got to about 104. We got cold wet towels and wrapped her in them. I held her and her temperature went down really fast. I'm so glad that she's doing so good now. I still have to watch her closely but I'm sure we are past the bad part.

Piggies

She can finally wear pig tails. Her hair grows soooooo slow. But she has a serious mullet going on. The problem is........ the back of her hair has little curls. I pains me to cut them off. But I NEED to even out her hair. What to do.

Happy Birthday LILY

Nice hair Emma. I love the smile BTW.
No one else can have my cake. I'll make sure of that.

Well she's 9 and I can't believe it. How did time fly so fast. We had a party for her when Jonathan's mom was here so it was done a little early. We opened gifts and the kids got to decorate their own cakes and eat them. Benjamin just went in face first. Am I surprised NOPE! Lily and I made an apron together. It was fun having that time with her.

Success!!!!

When I was a little girl living in Tooele UT I would try to make huge snowmen. Like way bigger and I was. Which in comparison to now is not that hard. I would make the middle of the snowman so big I couldn't lift it. Often times it was just me and I would have to start over with a more realistic snowman in mind. So the other day I looked out the window to check on the kids and I see Lily pushing this huge ball of snow around the yard. So I hurried up like a little kid again and got my snow gear on. I was going to help her make that snowman bigger than her. So I got too ambitious again and made the middle too big and I couldn't lift it. So I shaved off the excess and with a lot a struggle I got that sucker off the ground and the head was a piece of cake. Our snowman in all her glory. It's got pink on so it's gotta be a girl.

Magic Mirror

In my new house there was this mirror in the Master Bedroom as I walked past it I looked smaller than any other mirror had. Not like I'm narcissistic and I constantly look at myself all day long. When you are losing weight to be HEALTHY, and to stop hurting all the time it's nice to see progress. Soooo if it's a deceiving mirror I'm only going to look into that one I don't care. It's great.

Why do kids need toys.

When there are tons of packing paper and boxes around. Oh and the stairs really do help.
