Lily's night

Last Thursday night Lily had a chicca chicca boom boom of ABCs and 123s at her school.
They sang songs for the parents. It's was the kindergarten performance for the year.
They stuck Lily in between the tallest kids in the class so she looked like a shrimp up there.

I got a small smile today. Yeah!!!

Decorating, Quads, and Cabinets.

After living here for 4 months I have finally decorated some of my house. I got the living room and dining room done so far.

I got these curtains last night. I just love them. My neighbor has them but they are brown and blue, and mine are brown and purple.

Jonathan and his friend installed this ceiling fan in the living room. We didn't have any electricity running to it either so it was a big job.

I hung that mirror all by myself. It was hard to do but I did it. In the empty space we want to get a hutch or something like that to store all our piano music. I think it will look nice.

Here is the dining room. I didn't do much but I think it looks nice.

This is Jonathan's new toy. He LOVES it. He has been wanting a quad for a very long time. I finally broke down and said what the heck.

Jonathan has made my life so much easier. He made me these wonderful garage cabinets. We haven't ever had enough storage ever. Not now.

We are still in the process of making more so Jonathan will have room for his stuff as well.

I just wanted to say how wonderful it is to have our own home. The space we have for our family is a life saver. The things we can do to OUR house to make our lives easier is so much fun. The next project is the backyard.

What have we been up too!!!!

Jonathan installed a new fan in the girls room. It is perfect for their room.

Emma got gum in her hair so I chopped it. Don't worry she loves it.

Biggest Loser.

As a family we are doing a biggest loser contest. It is for the month of Apirl, and whoever looses the most amount of weight and most percentage of weight win. So we will have 2 winners or maybe one person could win both. I'm so excited as this will really motivate me to start my weight loss journey yet again. Just getting through the first month is really hard but with a little competion I'm so pumped. I'll post a before picture as soon as I get Jonathan to take one for me.

We had an easter party at Larry and Margaret's house, and the kids got pictures with Patty Cottontail.

A "birth" day party for Benjamin.

Last Sunday we had a "birth" day party for Benjamin. We had a good turn out.
The three older girl grandchildren helped me unwrap the presents as Benjamin was passed around.
My girls. They had so much fun because we had sundaes as well.
The men comented on how this was their first "shower" they had attended. They spent their time doing the rubics cube and ignoring the girly stuff.
Benjamin got this really cozy blanket from my sister-in-law Maria. She is just so crafty.

Peter had fun just running around being a BOY!!

He just looks so peaceful in his comfy blanket. Thanks to all that came is sure was fun.

Benjamins first bath at home.

Benjamin had his first bath at home and he did pretty good at first. But then got cold and wanted to be done. I've never had a first bath go without crying involved.

Lily lost another tooth (this makes 3) and I'm going to show you the process of getting it out
A trusting Lily lets her Daddy wrap floss around her very wiggly tooth
After many many atempts at getting it around the tooth just right. Daddy pulls the strings and....
out comes the tooth with Mommy right there with the napkin so Lily doesn't freak out about the blood.
She now is sporting a new "window". This is the first tooth that came out without the new one coming in first. I'm curious which one will come out next. I can't wait for the two front top teeth to come out.
